Yes, we will be having Cork and Fork 1 week later than usual this month!
Heather from Crooked Water Spirits joins us.
Heather began thinking how she could do spirits it differently, after a memorable experience in 2013 trying a gorgeous local small batch craft spirit. This craft approach vs macro approach was dazzling and inspiring. It was like the difference of having a strawberry or tomato out of the garden verses buying from the store. This realization of how craft could be done inspired Heather to set out and create a line of spirits that are approachable while raising expectations. It's with this commitment and enthusiasm, Crooked Water Spirits continues to grow.
Heather has also gone through courses to become a whiskey sommolier. This certification is meant to help people find whiskies they will enjoy and drink them in a way they will enjoy them (want water, ice, or a mixer? Don’t feel shy).
While each course is served with a cocktail, Heather will be present to pour samples of each of the spirits should you want to try them on their own. I highly recommend this - they really are fantastic.
