Oliva Serie V Melanio cigars are named for Melanio Oliva, believed to be the first Oliva patriarch to grow tobacco in Cuba. The Oliva brand is a traditional Nicaraguan manufacturer, tracing its tobacco roots to Cuba in the late 1800’s. The Oliva brand has been around since 1995 winning numerous awards for its core lines Serie G and Serie O and in the last few years the brand has had great success with Serie V and Serie V Melanio.
