It's been a while since we've done a blind tasting, so I felt that this would be a good time to bring it back. For those of you who have never been to one of the clubs blind tastings before, I will elaborate. A blind tasting is exactly like it sounds. I pick out three whiskies that are great in their own right and pour them for you without telling you any information up front. The idea is that this gives you a chance to try something without branding and preconceived opinions getting in the way. After a bit of letting everyone guess what they might be, I will reveal what they each are and give a little background and tasting notes on them like usual.
