Le Monde Friulano Friuli 2020

We have carried the great red wines from Le Monde and enjoyed them many times over the years.

I picked up a couple of cases of this wine at the right price as I thought it would be nice with some fall harvest foods. I have attached a recipe that I think it would go great with and if you aren’t a chicken thigh fan, you can use your other favorite parts.   

The Le Monde Friulano shows lemon citrus, peaches, and white flowers on the nose. The palate is medium bodied with citrus and notes of pear as well.  There is a long, minerally finish that allows it to pair nicely with food. 

Other pairings would be with seafood, cheeses, risotto and fish dishes and a it would certainly be a good match with Asian cuisines. 

It surely is a great example of one of Fruili’s great grapes.
